About Our Houston Tree Service
We're a locally owned tree care company serving Houston and the surrounding areas since 2012. No franchise, no call center, no crews subbed out to whoever answered a text this morning. Gus still climbs on the difficult jobs, Marisol still answers the phone, and the chip truck with the faded Astros sticker still won't die.
Our lead climber DeShawn spent six years on utility line-clearance crews before joining us, which is why the jobs near service drops that other companies walk away from are Tuesdays here. Between the four core crew members there's better than fifty years of tree work, most of it within twenty miles of the 610 Loop.

We ask you to get our quote before you sign anything. Most weeks we beat the franchises by a comfortable margin, and you get the same crew every visit instead of whoever the scheduler assigned.

Tree trimming and pruning, complete tree removal, oak tree trimming, stump grinding, dead and hazardous tree removal, hedge trimming, storm damage cleanup, 24/7 emergency tree removal, land and lot clearing, sick tree diagnosis and certified tree care, deep root fertilization, pine bark beetle prevention, and commercial tree service for HOAs and property managers. We also handle the smaller stuff that doesn't get its own page: tree planting and transplanting, root barrier installation, cabling and bracing of weak forks, ball moss and mistletoe removal, and firewood by the truckload every winter.
Our Word, In Writing
Every quote is free, itemized and holds for 30 days. Every job ends with a raked yard. And if we tell you a tree doesn't need work, that's free too. We carry general liability and workers' comp on every crew member, and certificates of insurance are one email away.
A Note From Gus
I got into tree work in 2003 clearing lines for a utility contractor, which is a great way to learn respect for both trees and electricity. Started this company in 2012 out of my garage off Antoine with one used chipper and my cousin's trailer, mostly because I was tired of watching crews butcher live oaks and charge good money for it. Twenty-some years on I still think most of this job is just showing up when you said, cutting what should be cut and nothing that shouldn't, and picking up after yourself. My kids think the Astros sticker on the chip truck is embarrassing. It stays.
